HOW IT WORKS

From our shop floor to your driveway. Complete.

A traditional automatic gate is a project you manage. A Ready Set Gates system is a product you receive. Here’s the difference.

The five-trade headache, eliminated.

Buying an automatic gate the traditional way means becoming an unintentional project manager.

The traditional way

  • A fabricator builds your gate
  • A separate supplier sells the operator
  • An electrician runs power to the road
  • A crew trenches across your driveway
  • A technician wires and programs on site
  • Multiple trades, multiple timelines, multiple invoices

The Ready Set way

  • Your gate is handcrafted in our shop
  • The operator is matched and mounted before shipping
  • Solar power with battery backup can reduce the electrical work
  • Wireless keypad, exit wand, and safety sensors can reduce trenching
  • Everything arrives prewired and preprogrammed
  • One complete system on one truck

Every property is different. Your specialist confirms what your specific site needs — but the building, wiring, and programming happen at our shop, not your driveway.

THE TECHNOLOGY

The subframe is the system.

The heart of every Ready Set Gates system is our patented subframe — an engineered foundation that carries the gate, its operator, and its access-control components as a single unit.

Traditional gates get assembled on site: gate here, operator there, wiring threaded between them, controls programmed in the field. A Ready Set Gates system is built in advance: the gate welded and finished, the automation mounted, the components wired, the controls programmed — all on the subframe, all at our shop.

What ships is not a kit. It’s your gate, ready.

What’s on the truck.

Depending on your configuration, your Ready Set Gates system can include:

  • Your gate — handcrafted from heavy-duty steel
  • Automatic gate operator, mounted and tested
  • Solar power with battery backup
  • App and remote access
  • Wireless keypad
  • Wireless exit wand
  • Safety sensors
  • Cellular monitoring
  • Adjustable, zero-maintenance ball-bearing hinges
  • Heavy-duty gate posts
  • The engineered patented subframe carrying it all

Your quote conversation confirms exactly what your entrance needs — property conditions, local regulations, and site requirements vary.

Set it yourself, or hand it off.

You set it

Because the system ships complete, on-site work is dramatically simpler than a traditional install: position, set, connect the included components per your configuration, and it’s operating. Solar power and wireless accessories can reduce the electrical work and trenching. How much you do yourself depends on your property, your configuration, and your local requirements — your specialist will map it with you.

Questions everyone asks.

Does a Ready Set Gates system need electricity?
Solar power with battery backup means the system doesn’t depend on a grid connection at the gate. Depending on your configuration and site, some electrical work may still be required — your specialist confirms what your property needs. Wireless accessories can also reduce trenching.
Can I really install it myself?
Many owners do set their own systems — that’s the point of shipping complete and preprogrammed. What your specific install involves depends on your property, configuration, and local requirements. Your specialist maps your install with you before you decide.
What happens if something fails?
Your system ships with support in place. Cellular monitoring keeps the system connected where configured, and your specialist walks you through the support options for your system.
Is it safe for kids and pets?
Safety sensors are part of the system where configured — and every configuration is discussed in your design conversation. Ask your specialist about the safety setup for your entrance.
What about winter, storms, or power outages?
Heavy-duty steel construction and battery backup are designed for exactly these conditions. Regional conditions matter — bring your climate questions to your quote conversation.
How much does a Ready Set Gates system cost?
System pricing depends on your gate category, size, configuration, and custom elements — that’s why every project starts with a conversation, not a price list. Monthly payment options are available through our financing partner, Hearth. See Financing
